The department of computer science and engineering was established in 2007, as a successor of former departments having backgrounds of electronics, information science and communications engineering, aiming to pursue a variety of research topics and high-quality education in computer science. Together with the department of communications and computer engineering<\/a>, which focuses on communication technologies, we lead research and education in computer science and produce global leaders in the next generation. Our department has the English-based undergraduate program. See Major in CSCE<\/a> for more detailed information.<\/p>\n Around 65 percentage of our graduates enroll in the graduate school of our department and engage in advanced research.
